About Nishita Barua!
Nishita Barua studied at “Our Lady of Fatima Girl's High School” of Cumilla. Studied from class six to seven in “Daisies School”, Kurseong, Darjeeling. Achieved S.S.C. from Dr. Khastagir Govt. Girls School in Chittagong. And completed her H.S.C. from Chittagong College, Chittagong. Graduation and Post-Graduation from Independent University of Bangladesh (IUB). Since childhood and inspired by her Father's Devotional singing that bought love from the Buddist community, as well as her youngest Uncle (Sumir Barua Tapu) who introduced her to the music at an early age. Nishita was further trained under the respected Srabani Saha and Ustad Mihir Lala of Chittagong. Nishita Barua recently learned music from Ustad Tushar Datta, Kolkata to inspire her further.
Nishita's one and the only solo album"Amay niye Cholo"released in the year 2007 Under the Banner of Gangchil. Gangchil Released 7 songs that Nishita Performed in Competition named Close Up 1. The album named “Bondhu Tomay Mone Pore”, Released in the year 2007. She has arrived in the music industries by talent hunt program "Closeup1" in the year 2005. She has achieved 2nd runner up prize in that competition. She is awarded many times by different cultural organizations in Bangladesh. She became more famous after singing the cover song of Arati Mukherjee’s “Tokhon Tomar Ekush Bochor Bodhoy” in “Ceylon Music Lounge”, Ceylon Tea’s Youtube Channel.
